Why Choose Resin
High Resolution
Resin printers produce extremely fine details and sharper features, making them ideal for intricate models.
Smooth Surface
Resin prints have a smooth finish with minimal layer lines, reducing the need for post-processing.
Dimensional Accuracy
Resin printing provides precise measurements and tight tolerances for detailed parts.
Complex Geometry
Resin handles delicate structures and intricate designs better than FDM printing.

FAQ
How much detail can resin printing achieve?
Resin printing is the gold standard for high-fidelity parts. It can capture microscopic details, like the texture of fabric on a miniature or the fine engravings on jewellery, that are impossible to achieve with other 3D printing methods.
Are resin parts brittle?
Can I paint my resin prints?
Resin parts are a dream for painters. The smooth surface requires very little preparation, and because the material is non-porous, paint adheres easily, allowing for high-end professional finishes. We recommend applying a coat of primer before starting to paint, to ensure the paint is long-lasting.
How do resin parts hold up over time?
Once fully cured and finished with a UV-resistant clear coat, resin parts are very stable. Without a coating, they can become brittle if left in direct sunlight for extended periods, as they are UV-sensitive.
Why is resin printing more expensive than FDM?
Resin involves more expensive raw materials and a labour-intensive post-processing stage (washing in chemicals and additional UV curing). The trade-off is a superior level of detail and finish.
Is resin better for miniatures and gaming?
Yes, resin is the industry favourite for tabletop gaming. It captures the facial expressions, weaponry, and fine armour details of small-scale miniatures perfectly.
How well does resin capture tiny text or engravings?
This is one of the main advantages of resin printing. Because it uses a high-resolution light source to “grow” the part, it can capture text so small you might need a magnifying glass to read it. It is the perfect choice for makers marks, serial numbers, or intricate runes on a character’s armour.
Can I glue resin parts together if I’m building a larger kit?
Yes, resin bonds exceptionally well. We recommend using a high-quality Cyanoacrylate (Super Glue) for a near-instant, permanent bond. We offer assembly of larger kits as an additional service.
